Charleston firefighters fought an early morning fire on the West Side.
Fire crews were called out around 2:00AM to the house on Madison Street.
We're told the house was vacant and the fire appeared to start in the back side of the house on the upper level.
Firefighters were able to get the flames out in less than an hour.
Police tried to question neighbors to see if they saw anything suspicious, but onlookers scattered from the scene.
