After a more than two decade hiatus, the St. Albans Fair and Carnival is back in town.
The fair is being held at the Crawford Practice Field on Route 60.
If you go, you'll be helping Saint Albans raise money for a new community center.
The grounds are packed with carnival rides, games, and of course, that old-fashioned fair food!
Admission is free, but money for the fun stuff goes to helping Saint Albans build a place for kids to have some fun and stay out of trouble.
"We need something for the kids to do. We have the Hansford Center, it's a wonderful place but it's for the seniors. We need something for the kids. If nothing else just to keep them off the streets and give them something to do," explains Dale Withrow, chairman of the fair.
The fair is open from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. They will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday.
There will also be live music.
