Charleston detectives look for clues that could help them find a missing man.
After his girlfriend reported that no one had seen nor heard from 55-year old Bob Snow since Wednesday evening, investigators "pinged" his cellular phone. They found it inside of his vehicle parked on this lot off of Westmoreland Road.
Sergeant Bobby Eggleton of the Charleston Police Department says the circumstances surrounding his disappearance have raised some red flags.
Eggleton says Snow was last seen leaving his job at this 7-11 at the corner of Bigley Avenue and Spring Street around 5:30 Wednesday. He was on his way to a 6:00 pm appointment in Kanawha City, but didn't show.
Security video shows Snow's vehicle driving through this Go-Mart parking lot at 6:35 pm. It was found just a block away.
Officers say Snow is not connected to any of the businesses that use the parking lot.
Detectives combed through the lot looking for clues. They also searched a nearby wooded area and the bank of the Elk River.
Snow's vehicle was towed away for further processing, but police say it didn't yield any more information.
Snow is 6'1" and weighs 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing khaki dress pants with a short sleeve dress shirt with green stripes.
If you have any information about Snow contact the Charleston Police Department at 304-348-6480 or call 911.
