A mechanic is dead after an accident at an Alpha Natural Resources coal processing plant in Boone County.
The state Office of Miners Health, Safety and Training says 57-year-old Clyde Dolin of Danville fell three stories at Liberty Processing near Uneeda Thursday afternoon.
Dolin was pronounced dead at Boone Memorial Hospital.
Spokesperson Leslie Fitzwater says Dolin had 39 years mining experience including 13 at the Uneeda prep plant.
