The search has been called off for a possible plane down in eastern Kentucky Thursday afternoon.
Emergency workers tell us that they have located a large pile of burned trash which is what the pilot likely saw earlier in the day.
Numerous search crews were called to the Industrial Parkway in Greenup County Thursday to help assist in the search for a possible plane after a pilot flying in the area reported what he or she believed was wreckage.

Search crews are continuing their effort to find a possible plane down in Kentucky.
Emergency workers tell Eyewitness News that a pilot flying above the Industrial Parkway in Greenup County Thursday morning, reported seeing what looked liked plane wreckage in the area.
We're told crews have been searching by helicopter and on land throughout the day, but have not found a plane or any wreckage.
Crews remain on scene at this time. We'll have the latest on this developing story as it becomes available and on Eyewitness News at 6.
