School officials were on high alert after a threat was directed towards George Washington High School on Twitter.
Both G.W. administration and Kanawha County Board of Education members are looking into the threat that was seen on Twitter around 2:30am Wednesday.
School officials say the student who tweeted the message is believed to have mental health issues.
Administrative action might be taken against the student.
