Kidnapping charges against a man who allegedly abducted a woman, who was critically injured when she plunged from a moving vehicle, are headed to a grand jury.
Donald Christopher Crawford is charged with kidnapping his girlfriend, Angel Leigh Proctor.
Proctor received a skull fracture and other serious injuries.
Crawford waived a preliminary hearing where the state would have to show they had probable cause to arrest him.
Crawford remains in jail without bond.
Proctor remains in critical condition at a Charleston hospital.
