Police say Dustin Ray Ogden, and Amanda Grace Morris-Ogden tried to steal the metal from a house on Primrose Avenue.
The incident apparently happened around 2am on Tuesday. After being arrested the couple told the officers that their three children, ages 5, 2, and 9 months, were at home alone.
The children are now in the custody of a relative. The Ogdens bonds were set at $80,000 dollars a piece.
