Results of the 2012 Spring Primary, narrow the race for sheriff in Mason County.
The election is controversial because it comes after the former sheriff, David Anthony's March resignation as part of a plea deal for charges stemming from embezzlement and wanton endangerment for firing a gun at his son.
The two candidates include Greg Powers on the Democrat ticket who won the primary with 1,754 votes.
On the Republican ticket Gordon Clark won the primary with 1,478 votes.
