Controversy is cooking at Madison Middle School over unpaid lunch bills.
Some parents are planning a peaceful protest, saying their children were denied a school lunch on Friday.
The school's principal, Josh Bacchus says he asked students at lunch to call their parents and remind them of unpaid lunches, a bill totaling more than 2 thousand dollars.
Bacchus says the students were told to call and then could come back and eat, but parents say that's not what happened and the children weren't allowed to eat.
Now parents plan to meet Wednesday at 9 a.m. outside of the school to see that something is done.
