The woman that was trapped on the roof was taken to the Cabell Huntington Burn Unit for treatment last night.
Firefighters got the about the fire in the 200 block of E Street in South Charleston around 11 Thursday night..
There were no smoke detectors in the apartment.
Firefighters have not released the cause of the fire.

Crews are on the scene of a structure fire in South Charleston.
It happened in the 200 block of E Street around 11pm Thursday.
According to scanner traffic, one person is trapped on the roof of the building.
