A former Mason County Sheriff will learn his fate May 21, 2012.
David Anthony plead guilty to brandishing a firearm and shooting near a dwelling and no contest to fraudulent schemes and embezzlement back in March.
He was set to be sentenced today when the prosecutor complained he had not kept his part of the plea deal.
It require a written letter of apology for claiming other county officials had also used county credit card's illegally.
His lawyer took the blame. The judge pushed the sentencing back to give him time to write the letter.
The plea deal also required Anthony not seek further public office.
He could face up to 3 years and one hundred days in jail.
