A man wanted for kidnapping and domestic battery turns himself into police Tuesday afternoon.
The victim told police she was on a date with David Chester II, 24, of St. Albans Friday evening when they got into an argument and she drove him back to his residence.
That's where she says Chester grabbed her, threw her to the floor, and then forced her to a bedroom and blocked the doorway while holding a knife.
The victim told police she escaped once Chester fell asleep. She was treated at a local hospital for a broken wrist.
Chester remains in jail until a circuit judge sets his bond for those charges.
