More than one million West Virginians are eligible to vote in the May 8th primary and some of them are doing so right now.
Early voting started at 8am Wednesday and runs through April 28th and then from April 30th through May 5th.
More than 131,000 postcards went out to Kanawha County voters to alert them to changes in House and Senate districts in this election districts.
Early voting is a popular option. More than 70,000 people voted early in the 2008 Primary statewide.
Kanawha County Clerk Vera McCormick says to call Voter's Registration at (304) 357-0110 if you have questions. She warns voters to look at both sides of the ballot. House voters on both sides are looking at six new districts this time.
