Four Marshall football players are behind bars after they were arrested Saturday night.
Running back Martin Ward, defensive back Phillip Warren, cornerback Corie Wilson and linebacker Stefone Grace are being held in the Western Regional Jail.
Ward is charged with disorderly conduct. Warren is charged with battery on police, disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer. Wilson is charged with obstructing an officer and fleeing on foot, while Grace is charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer.
Marshall coach Doc Holliday issued a statement saying the program is aware of the situation and still gathering facts. Holliday says once that process is complete, he will handle the matter appropriately.
