With the Cat in the Hat serving as a tour guide, the musical "Seussical" takes you through the many worlds of children's author Dr. Seuss.
Horton the elephant is the production's central character. His efforts to save the tiny Whos of Whoville drive the story.
First Stage of Huntington is putting on the show for the second time in the past seven years. It allows the group to use a large cast, giving many young actors valuable experience.
With a cast of more than 80, "Seussical" fills the stage at the Keith Albee Performing Arts Center.
Since its Broadway debut in 2000, "Seussical" has become a favorite for community and school theater groups who utilize its many diverse roles and like its uplifting message.
Although Horton's fight to save the Whos is interrupted by evil kangaroos and other villains. the elephant eventually triumphs...proving once again that a person is a person, no matter how small.
