There is another possible scam in our area that you need to know about.
Detectives with the Kanawha Bureau of Investigation say an elderly man in the Valley Grove area told them Monday that three white men offered to do a "sealant" job on his gravel driveway.
The victim handed over $1,100 dollars and in turn, the trio sprayed what detectives say appears to be used oil on top of the gravel.
Detectives are now looking for those three men who are described as white males, all in their 30's or 40's. They were driving a tan, full sized pick up truck with a compressor or tank in the bed.
If you have any information or think you have been a victim of this possible scam, call the Kanawaha Bureau of Investigation at 304-357-0169.
