Scott Depot , Putnam County , West Virginia

It's a dream home with a purpose. And that purpose will touch the hearts of sick kids at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The St. Jude Dream Home is now in its final stages and nearing completion.

Hundreds of volunteers are making it all happen, like Nick Hobba and Jon Nibert. Although they work for different companies installing lighting and duct work at the home, they're both proud to dedicate their time and effort. They realize the work put into every inch of the home helps fund cancer research for kids who are turning to you for help.

"Anything that we can do. We all have a little bit in it that we can do to help. We ought to put forth the effort," said Hobba.

"It's a real inspiration for me and I hope others follow. It's a real big deal for me and our company," explained Nibert.

The Dream Home Giveaway continues to build the dream of one day eliminating cancer for kids at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and beyond.

Until then, volunteers will work, a gorgeous home will be built, and St. Jude's kids will remain hopeful for a cure.

"You sleep a little better knowing that you helped someone out there," said Hobba.

The Dream Home will be given away live on Eyewitness News June 10th.

Tickets for the Dream Home are $100.

You can buy a ticket at Peoples Federal Credit Union at any of the three branches (in Nitro, Eleanor, and Point Pleasant.) You can also buy tickets at Burdette Camping Center, or any participating Good Neighbor Pharmacy.

You can also visit www.dreamhome.org, or call 1-800-592-1582.
