For the second day in a row, West Virginia State Troopers arrest a Kanawha County man and charge him with incest.
Police say the man sexually assaulted his daughter for years and fathered three children...who are also his grandchildren.
The criminal complaint alleges 55-year old Charles Shamblin of Pratt sexually abused his daughter from when she was seven years old until he she was 20.
Investigators obtained DNA samples from Shamblin, his daughter and her three children. They were sent to Marshall University for testing. The criminal complaint says the results indicate Shamblin is the father of all three children in question.
Shamblin is charged with 18 felony counts of sexual assault, sexual abuse by a parent and incest.
Kanawha County Magistrate Pete Lopez sent Shamblin to the South Central Regional Jail and set a $100,000 cash-only bond.
Shamblin has a preliminary hearing set for April 20th.
