A stern warning from a bailiff blocked Susan Webb's son from a goodbye hug as she headed for prison. Deputies kicked the man out of the courtroom but did not arrest him.
Webb was sentenced to ten years in prison for going on a shopping spree with the credit card's of an 85-year-old woman after stealing her purse as she grocery shopped.
She also took about 100 dollars from a 90-year-old man when she grabbed his wallet. Webb was apologetic and blamed crack cocaine for her crime spree.
The judge did not buy her bid for probation and put her behind bars. It was a sense of relief for the 90 year old victim's family. Webb headed out of the courtroom in a burst of emotion.
