This unseasonably warm weather is causing problems for a Kanawha County School that traditionally has problems keeping cool.
As in years past, East Bank Middle School is once again experiencing problems with their air conditioning system.
Terry Hollandsworth with the Kanawha County Operations Division tells Eyewitness News that the classrooms are so warm because of the switch from heat to air conditioning and it takes time to make that happen.
Sissonville High School was also hot, but their air conditioners have since been turned on.
Hollandsworth says East Bank will get a new system installed over the summer break.
