A logger killed Tuesday in a Boone County accident has been identified.
32-year old Charles McCalister II of Apple Grove died in the accident near the Hobet Mine site. That accident happened around 4pm Tuesday afternoon.

One person is dead after a logging accident on mining property in Boone County.
Boone County dispatchers tell Eyewitness News they started receiving calls about the accident around 4:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Dispatchers say it happened on Mud River Road on Hobet Mining property near the guard shack.
We were told one person died in that accident. We'll continue to update this story as more details become available.
