Lawrence County, Ohio deputies need your help to find a man missing from the Scottown area since Tuesday.
According to a release from the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office, 61-year old Charles Shoemaker of 371 State Route 218 was last seen by family members on Tuesday morning. His family tells deputies he walked up the hill behind his home and hasn't been seen since.
Sheriff Jeff Lawless with says deputies, along with the Rome Fire Department, and the Windsor Volunteer Fire Department began searching the area Thursday. That search was called off due to inclement weather, but resumed Friday morning.
Mr. Shoemaker is 5'6" and 120 pounds with grey hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a red jacket, and brown rubber boots. He suffers from mental disability and may have diabetes.
Sheriff Lawless says Shoemaker has been reported missing at least six times before and the last two times, he was found in Huntington, West Virginia.
