A fire hit a little too close to home for firefighters in Nitro Wednesday evening.
Multiple departments responded to a fire at the city's fire station just before 5pm.
We're told the fire started in the wall in the chief's office.
Mayor Rusty Casto says thankfully the fire was put out quickly or it could have been much worse.
We're told the fire did about $50,000 worth of damage because it ruined the station's computer system.
