The cleanup continues in Southern West Virginia and Eastern Kentucky after last weeks tornadoes tore through.
Charles Adkins is working to salvage what's left not only of his house, but his deceased mother-in-law's house as well.
When the storm blew through, Adkins and around 40 other people from this tornado ravaged community were miles away at a funeral.
They were there mourning the loss of Adkins's mother-in-law, Annabel Marcum.
Adkins said her funeral, saved lives.
"I think if we had been home instead of at the service we would be hurt, maybe killed," Adkins said.
