A Fayette County man is dead after he was hit by a car in Dothan early Saturday morning.
Deputies say 21-year-old Stephen Nichols walked into the middle of WV 612 around 1am and was hit by a small SUV.
According to deputies, the driver couldn't see Nichols because he was dressed in dark colored clothing.
