2 Killed, 6 In Hospital After Head-On Collision

Two people were killed and another six are in the hospital after a head-on collision early this morning.
Police say a blue pick-up truck was going the wrong way on the exit ramp and slammed into a black SUV at the 5th Street exit. The two people in the truck died at the scene. A family of six from North Carolina were in the SUV and all were transported to Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Both lanes were shut down for several hours while accident investigators worked the scene. Drivers were diverted at exits 8 and 11.
