A Portsmouth, Ohio man is arrested for allegedly stealing a purse and several credit cards.
Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini says it happened on Sunday in the parking lot of the Portsmouth Lowe's. That's where the victim told deputies she had been shopping inside the store, and when she got back to her car, her purse along with her credit cards were gone.
It didn't take deputies long to find the stolen purse and they say the suspect allegedly used the stolen credit cards to go on a shopping spree at the Walmart in New Boston.
Deputies arrested 50-year old Raymond Queen of Portsmouth a short time later. He is charged with felony theft.
