The driver in a car accident that killed a Kanawha County man pleaded guilty to felony DUI causing death.
James Miller was sentenced to two to ten years home confinement Friday morning in Judge Duke Bloom's courtroom.
Miller was driving his car with three other passengers when he crashed in Big Chimney last February.
Brandon Bradshaw, 23, one of Miller's best friends, died in the wreck.
Bradshaw's mother urged the judge not to send Miller to prison, saying all the families involved have suffered enough from the tragedy.
Miller is also required to go to day report and do community service every Saturday.
