A Stein Inc. employee died in a work related accident early Friday morning.
Boyd County, Kentucky Coroner Mark Hammond tells Eyewitness News that 27-year old Shaun Shelton of Ashland was working at Stein Inc. when the accident happened around 8am. Stein Inc. is a contractor for AK Steel and is located behind that plant.
Hammond says the initial report reveals that Shelton got caught in a conveyor belt. He is survived by his wife and 3-year old son. His body has been sent to the Medical Examiner's for an autopsy.
