" I'm story, I mean, I was clean for a year and a half and then things went really bad in my life. There's no excuse, but it did! I just turned to the worst for five months.. " 42-year-old Susan Webb blamed her crime spree on drugs.
She snatched an elderly woman's purse and went on a shopping spree with her credit card. She grabbed money out of now 90-year-old Charles Overbaugh's wallet. She had allegedly conned him out of even more cash. Prosecutors say she needs to go to prison.
Overbaugh's family expressed relief it is just about over. While the most serious charge, robbery, was dropped, Webb could face a maximum 51 year sentence if the judge stacks the credit card fraud charges and a petty larceny consecutively. He rejected a bid to cut her bond and sent her to jail to await sentencing.
