Spin your way to a healthier life and help encourage others to get healthy at the same time -- with a special fundraiser happening in March.
The PATH (Paul Ambrose Trail for Health) Spin-a-thon is happening Thursday, March 15th from 4-9pm at the Marshall University Recreation Center in Huntington.
All proceeds will go to the PATH Project. PATH is named for Dr. Paul Ambrose, a graduate of Marshall University, who died in the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks.
Dr. Ambrose was dedicated to both family and preventative medicine to help fight obesity. His family continues to pursue Paul's dream of Huntington being a happier and healthier place through the expansion of PATH.
You can sign up for the Spin-a-thon at http://www.active.com/cycling/huntington-wv/pedal-for-path-2012. Registration is $20 dollars and every participant will get a t-shirt and be entered to win door prizes.
