The price of fuel in West Virginia is on the rise.
Triple A said more consumption due to an improving economy overseas, mixed with unrest in the middle east is to blame for the rising fuel prices.
The average price of unleaded gas in west virginia is around $3.30 a gallon, that's about a 20 cent jump from last week.
For John Peters, weekend traveler, the increase is noticeable.
"When we hit Huntington it was $3.79, and it was $3.59 back home," Peters said.
