A Huntington man is in jail charged with setting an apartment building on fire earlier this month.
According to the criminal complaint, Huntington Police arrested Kennie at his home in the 1000 block of West 5th Avenue. That's where they found cocaine and $600 dollars in cash.
24-year old Quinton L. Kennie is charged with 1st degree arson for setting fire to an apartment building in the 900 block of 9th Street West in Huntington back on February 2nd. He is also charged with possession and intent to deliver. He remains in the Western Regional Jail on a $100,000 bond.
On Thursday afternoon, crews tore down the remains of that apartment building. Six apartments were destroyed in the fire and 18 people left homeless. No one was hurt.
