Ansted Fire Department responded to a house fire on Logtown Road in Ansted this afternoon.
They say it appeared as though a container of kerosene was placed too close to a coal burning stove which was used to heat the home. The actual cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
The fire was contained primarily to two small rooms of the house.
Two people were home at the time the fire started, but received only minor injuries.
