That is what state Treasury John Perdue did live on national television Friday morning.
Perdue presented a check for $481,335.70 worth of unclaimed property to the J.D. Mier estate.
The presentation was part of the Good Morning America’s “Show Me the Money” segment"
GMA went around the country highlighting finding million dollars in unclaimed property.
West Virginia had the largest dollar amount of all the states featured on Good Morning America.
