A tight economy means families are trying to stretch their budgets, and one way is to look for deals at consignment sales.
"Another Mother's Treasure" consignment sale started bright and early Thursday morning and is stocked up with thousands of gently used items.
It looks a department store inside the India Center on Corridor-G with gently used clothes, shoes, toys and furniture all up for sale at a fraction of their retail price.
For the shoppers, sales like this give them bargains, and for the mom's who are selling the goods, it's a source of extra cash.
The AMT runs Thursday and Friday from 9am till 7pm and Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
Items that don't sell, are donated to charity including the Gabriel Project and the women's shelter.
