A Gallia County man is behind bars accused of shooting and killing his wife.
Deputies say David Allen Ramey went to his mother's house on Hartsook Road in Huntington Township shortly after 8am Wednesday, where Stephanie Ramey was staying. He then walked into the bedroom and shot her.
Ramey's mother called 911, but the victim died on the scene.
Deputies caught Ramey a short time later in his car with the gun.
