The Beckley woman has a very personal reason for fighting to end abortions. When she was a teenager, she almost had one.
Legursky and her fellow pro lifers are supporting a bill that would outlaw abortions when a fetus can start feeling pain. They say that happens about 20 weeks after conception.
It's a new twist to an old debate, something lawmakers say could possibly help to get the bill voted into law...but they acknowledge its going to be an uphill fight.
West Virginians For Life's president says five states have passed similar measures...and none have faced a court challenge.
