One woman is stabbed in the neck and another is in custody after a fight at the transit mall in Charleston.
The stabbing happened around ten this morning on Lee and Summers Street.
Charleston police say a woman got off the bus and another woman began fighting with her.
The woman on the bus says she stabbed the other in the neck in self defense.
Emergency workers say without quick response, that wound could have been life threatening, but they say they did get to her in time.
The victim has been transported to the hospital.
Police say the other woman will most likely be charged with malicious wounding.
