AARP leaders head to the capitol in Charleston, WV to get lawmakers to strengthen laws for West Virginia's senior citizens.
They want state leaders to expand the state's low income utility rate discount program.
If they did AARP believes that seniors could afford the rising costs of home energy.
AARP also want a better transportation and sidewalk system to be built to make it easier for those seniors to get around their communities.
