POWER OUTAGE Some South Charleston Residents In The Dark After Car Wreck

The power is out for some South Charleston residents on Friday morning and students at South Charleston High School and Richmond Elementary get the day of due to the outage.
Dispatchers tell us that a vehicle hit a power pole and blew a transformer.
It happened near Chestnut Road and Kanawha Turnpike.
That area is shut down and will be for the next couple hours.
Crews from the power company are working to get the power restored.
