A 19-year-old woman who lured a victim into a violent street mugging in South Charleston last July tried to convince a judge to put her on probation Thursday.
Brittany Lanham set up Joshua Unrue for the beating and robbery attempt. He needed 29 stitches to close the head wound he had after he was clubbed with a piece of concrete block. Kalom White and Alexander Lanham did the beating. Brittany Lanham asked the judge to be treated as a youthful offender or probation.
The Assistant Prosecutor urged a prison sentence. The judge agreed and sentenced her to 10 years in prison for robbery.
The two men -- suspected members of a teen gang called the "North Charleston Boys" -- will be sentenced later.
