Senator Manchin started a two week statewide tour this morning in St. Albans.
The Senator's "Standing Up for Common Sense" tour kicked off with the coffee and common sense event at the Shoney's in St. Albans.
Manchin talked about the big policy challenges ahead in 2012 and his vision on how to help create jobs and grow the economy. He said he's frustrated with the leadership on both sides of the aisle in Washington.
"Leadership has to take that responsibility," Manchin said. "If they won't lead they need to get out of the way [of] those that wish to lead"
Manchin will host a town hall meeting at the Milton Senior Center scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
