A grand jury has indicted Mason County Sheriff David Anthony on multiple charges. According to court documents the indictments include charges of child neglect creating risk of injury, domestic assault, shooting near a residence, fraudulent scheme, 19 counts of embezzlement, and 18 counts of unauthorized use of a government purchasing card.
Mason county commissioners met with legal counsel Thursday afternoon to discuss filing a petition to remove Sheriff Anthony.
