Matthew Mullins of Elkview was killed when his car lost control and hit a telephone pole on Indian Creek Road in Pinch around 11:30pm January 4th.
The passenger, Michael Richard walked away from the accident without injuries.
Kanawha County Deputies don't believe that the wreck was alcohol or weather related.
