The high winds have caused several problems around the region Sunday.
The wind knocked down a tree, snapped a power pole and took two power lines down on Kennawa Drive. The road, near Job Corp, is expected to be closed for a while.
The wind was gusting upwards of 40 miles per hour.
Metro 911 dispatchers say they have taken several reports of lines and trees down in other areas of the county.
The winds are also helping spread some brush fires in Putnam County, but so far all have been contained.
