None of the people in our video is charged with doing anything wrong, but there are increased concerns about the conduct of groups of patients around two "pain clinics" in Williamson. Dr. Steve Wilson's office is next door to one of them. He says: "We have witnessed the sale of drugs in our parking lot. "
State troopers are also probing allegations of drug trafficking in prescription pain killers on the streets around the the two doctor's offices and a nearby pharmacy where some of their prescriptions are filled. Sgt. B. M. Brown said " Yes, the State Police has observed deliveries and hand (to hand) deliveries."
No one has accused Dr. William Ryckman and other contract physicians at his office or Doctor Diane Shafer of any crimes here. Ryckman's office manager says there's no over-prescribing and that they can't control what people do after they leave. Myra Miller said "We run a very clean doctor's office." Dr. Shafer could not be reached for comment. Her clinic is next door to Wilson's business.
