Two men are indicted on murder charges for a shooting that happened at a South Charleston nightclub nearly four years ago
Thomas Bess and Hubert Scruggs are charged in the death of 27 year old Brandon Greene, who was shot five times outside Club Mystique in South Charleston in August, 2005. The father of three died in the hospital.
Brandon's grandmother Teresa Johnson was determined to find her grandson's killers.
She kept letters and newspaper articles, documenting her struggle for justice.
Kanawha County Prosecutor Mark Plants says shortly after he took office in January, Greene's family called him, asking for help, and a fresh look at the case.
Brandon's family now says while there is still a long road ahead, they have a new found hope in the justice system.
Scruggs is serving time at a prison in Tennessee on unrelated charges. He will be extradited back to West Virginia.
Both men will be arraigned November 16th.
