A Kanawha County woman who allegedly shot her estranged husband in the intensive care unit at CAMC Memorial Hospital has now been charged with first-degree murder.The grand jury indicted 53 year old Rhonda Stewart in the death of Sammy Stewart. Stewart reportedly argued with him earlier in the day before being asked to leave by hospital staff. Police said she returned with a handgun and shot him in the head. She then walked out of the room and handed the gun to a doctor. He was pronounced dead minutes later.
She now faces life in prison.
